Christianity is a religion which was brought to Suriname by the dutch during the colonial time. Today, Christianity is one of the largest Religions in Suriname with 48,4% of the whole population. It is a religion which includes all the different ethnic groups of Suriname.
Christianity can be sub-divided into Roman Catholic, Lutheran, Full Gospel, Jehovah’s Witness, E.B.G (Evangelical Brother Church) and the Reformed Church.
